What can we say about Portugal? 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹 Hmmm, how about that we did not have enough time to explore this beautiful country. Due to some pressing needs back in the States we unfortunately had to cut this trip short and only had time to briefly explore Lisbon. There is SO MUCH MORE of Portugal to explore that we’ve added a return trip to this beautiful and friendly country next fall. It definitely has a San Francisco flare to us with the hills, the bay, and the cable car; even a bridge that could easily be mistaken.
We met some lovely people throughout our time in Portugal. The Portuguese are very friendly, helpful, and many speak very good English as they learn from a very early age in school. We also met a wonderful couple on one of our tours, Shari and Richard Coote from Little Rock, Arkansas. Fellow world travelers and such a delightful couple, we made plans to meet back up and have dinner (sorry about the long mountain climb to dinner guys!) At least we didn’t feel so guilty about dessert!
